THE ANCESTRAL ORIGINS OF THE IYASHI DÔME

In Japan, there are centuries-old traditional detox cures called "Suna Ryoho", found mainly in the Ibusuki region in southern Japan.
For over 300 years, it has been customary for the Japanese to bury themselves in the sand of certain hot springs. This type of cure allows the body to sweat out accumulated toxins and naturally purify itself.
In these unique locations, the heat is diffused by underground hot springs and the sun, warming the sand which possesses special properties.
The natural emission of far infrared rays inspired Shogoro Uemura to revive this tradition in the simplest way possible, using technology that masters the "Suna Ryoho" principle that the Japanese are so fond of.
That's how the Iyashi Dôme company was founded in November 2004, with the aim of giving everyone access to treatments that benefit both body and mind, thanks to the far infrared rays of the Iyashi Dôme Japanese sauna.
Far infrared light is an essential source for the development of plants and, by extension, all organic matter.
But it was not until 1800 that William Herschel, an English astronomer of German origin, made this discovery. For the first time, it was observed that heat could be transmitted by a form invisible from light, neither through convection (movement of hot air) nor by conduction (propagation in a solid). In short, far infrared heats matter not the air around it. Far infrared waves are measured in micrometres (or nanometres) and, contrary to popular belief, not in degrees of temperature. Iyashi Dôme infratherapy is a non-invasive, gentle, and powerful technique that uses far infrared rays to raise the body's temperature significantly, helping with deep detoxification, slimming, sleep, skin ageing, muscle preparation and recovery, as well as relaxation.
